Your conversations stay yours.
Where your recordings go, who can see them, and what we’ll never do.
Stays on your device, unless you choose Cloud.
Standard and High Accuracy transcription run on your device, so the audio never leaves it. Our servers never receive a copy.
Cloud sends the audio to our transcription partner over an encrypted connection, where it’s processed and dropped. You pick the mode for each meeting.
The audio stays on this device. The audio goes to our transcription partner over an encrypted connection. Processed and dropped, never stored, never on our servers.
Voices are recognised on your device.
When speaker recognition is on, Dragon learns each voice on your device and keeps that voice data encrypted in the iOS Keychain, left out of iCloud backup. It never leaves your device.
Notes sync to your account, encrypted.
Transcripts, summaries and your notes are stored in your account so they reach your other devices. They’re encrypted in transit and at rest, and only you, signed in, can access them.
To write the summary, your transcript is sent to our AI partner. Never the audio, and it isn’t used to train models.
What we never do.
We don’t sell, trade or rent your personal information.
We don’t listen to, read or review your audio, transcripts or notes.
Our AI partners are contractually bound not to train their models on your data.
Billing runs through the App Store. We never receive your payment card details.
The fine print.
The short answers. For everything, read the privacy policy.
- A transcription partner transcribes your audio, only when you choose Cloud.
- An AI partner writes summaries and action items from your transcript and meeting details, not your audio.
- A hosting provider stores your account: email, display name, transcripts, summaries and notes.
- A meeting bot service runs the optional Pro bot for Zoom, Meet and Teams. It receives the meeting link, not your calendar.
- Apple and Google handle subscription billing through the App Store and Google Play.
- Crash reporting and analytics services receive crash reports and product analytics, with transcript content, audio, voice data and calendar events removed.
Our privacy policy lists each one by name.
Yes. Choose Standard or High Accuracy transcription so audio never leaves your device, and turn off cloud sync to keep all of your data local.
Delete any meeting from inside the app. That removes the audio on your device, the transcript, the summary and any voice data linked to it. If you close your account, we remove your data from our servers within 30 days, except where the law requires otherwise.
Your device talks to your calendar directly. The calendar feed isn’t uploaded, and your Google sign-in stays in your device’s secure storage. When you apply an event to a meeting, its details (like the title and attendees) become part of that meeting and are synced and used for its summary.
No. Your notes are encrypted in transit and at rest, and only you, signed in, can access them. We don’t listen to, read or review your audio, transcripts or notes.
